Once known as the “Cheese Room,” this space originally served as a dedicated area for aging and storing cheese, a crucial part of traditional farm life. Over time, as farming practices evolved, it transitioned into a general storage space, housing various tools, equipment, and supplies essential for daily farm operations. In 2004, the space underwent a thoughtful renovation, transforming it into comfortable living quarters. Today, it stands as a charming one-bedroom self-catering apartment, blending its rich agricultural history with modern conveniences, offering guests a unique and cozy retreat steeped in the character of its past. Please note there are 5 old uneven stone steps leading up to the outside door and a further staircase inside to reach the apartment.
